The ACMC Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to raise, receive and administer charitable gifts in support of Ashtabula County Medical Center.

Gift shop partners support children in Ukraine!

Headbands of Hope is donating 100% of their profits from the Sunflower Knotted Headband back to Save The Children and their mission to protect Ukrainian children. Stop in the ACMC Foundation Gift Shop to purchase yours while supplies last.

At ACMC volunteers are an important part of our caregiving team, supporting our patients, visitors, and caregivers.

The ACMC Volunteer Program is coordinated by the ACMC Foundation. Volunteers, 18 years of age and over, serve in various capacities, including: the ACMC Foundation Gift Shop, registration, surgical and endoscopy waiting rooms, pastoral care and at ACMC Foundation events. We work to match your goals and interests with opportunities available.

Looking for a thoughtful way to honor and recognize a caregiver at ACMC?

From the Heart is a program offering patients and their families an opportunity to give charitable donations in honor of a Caregiver, or group of Caregivers, who played a special role in their experience. Caregivers who are honored From the Heart will receive a custom-crafted pin, a letter of acknowledgment and special recognition in their departments, as well as in newsletters and publications.

Have you seen the large exterior mural hanging in perfect view for offices and patient rooms in the North Tower of the hospital? One of our nurses suggested a mural to cover the plain brick wall as a way to improve patient experience, and we agreed! With support from donors, ACMC Foundation commissioned the art work by local artist Brant Gebhart and a 30-foot by 40-foot mural banner was installed in May 2021 during National Hospital Week.

We have recently partnered with Capitena's Floral and Gift Shoppe to offer fresh flower arrangements in the ACMC Foundation Gift Shop. Stop in and grab an arrangement for yourself or a loved one! You may also call to order over the phone, and we will deliver arrangements to patient rooms.

The ACMC Foundation Gift Shop is currently open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am-4pm. If you’d like to order an arrangement over the phone during our normal business hours, please call the ACMC Gift Shop by dialing (440) 997-2262 ext. 2440. If you’d like to purchase an arrangement outside of the gift shop’s normal business hours, please call Mattie in the Foundation directly (440) 997-6942.
