The April Networking meeting topic was negotiations. The group shared some great ideas that we captured on our flipchart. Bill Douglass and James Mayer, two of our mentors, then shared some of their experiences and ideas on how they approach a negotiation. We then went over our Negotiations Preparation Worksheet and used it for a short exercise, where everyone prepared for an upcoming negotiation and then got feedback from others in their group.
Our next "Starting and Growing a New Business" Course will be in Geneva beginning 5/17. Classes are 5:30 - 8:30 every Tuesday evening for 6 weeks. You will work on developing a Business Plan that includes each key area of business. Finding funding and how to prepare for the discussion with the investor/lender is covered in the last session.
