Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms, grandmothers, aunts and other important women in our lives. ACCOA celebrated moms on Friday with their annual mothers day tea party. Tea, muffins, pastries, artichoke dip, chicken salad croissant and fruit salad were on the menu along with a acoustic entertainer Mitch Larson.
What a great turn out for the SNAP-ED program here at the center. This is a program which lteaches us how to shop for and cook healthy foods and make the dollar stretch. The next SNAP-ED time will be Thursday May 19 at 11:00. Call the center at 440-998-6750 to reserve you spot

This program provides seniors aged 60 and older who live in Ashtabula County with basic lawn mowing, to help alleviate the pressure and stress of yard work when you are just unable to do it anymore.

This class was called percussion therapy and may I tell you, everyone that attended enjoyed it including myself. We are going to see if we can have this class in the near future.
