We asked Amanda a few questions..
What do you enjoy doing in AC?
"I really enjoy the seasons in Ashtabula County! Moving from Arizona, I have really learned to embrace all seasons and enjoy everything they have to offer in our beautiful county! My summers spent on Conneaut beach, boating, kayaking and playing with my son at Conneaut Township Park. Brants Apple Orchard is the perfect fall spot and my winters snowmobiling and sled riding at the buffs at the Conneaut Township Park."
Why get involved with YPAC?
"I joined because I felt YPAC needed some young professionals from all areas of the county .I like to showcase how beautiful the city of Conneaut is and what we have to offer! I also, love giving back to Ashtabula County and like to help improve the quality of life in my community and surrounding areas!"
Where is your favorite place to go in town?
"Obviously, the Conneaut Public Library! People perceive libraries as a quite place. That is not the case by any means! The library has over 1000 kids come through for programming and offers teen and adult programs. Honestly, there is something for everyone! I just don’t love it here because it’s my job!"

More about our Monthly Member, Kristen Kitchen!!
We asked Kristen what she enjoys doing in Ashtabula County.."I am grateful to reside and work in Ashtabula County. My husband and I enjoy so many aspects of our community, particularly the quality of life - the covered bridges, the locally-owned wineries and of course, Lake Erie. We grew up in Geneva and Conneaut respectively, so we are lucky to still call AC our home. "
Why get involved with YPAC? "Initially, I attended YPAC simply because the program of the month was of interest to me (local, growing businesses & organizations including Bissell Maple Farm, Connect 534, Hundley Cellars and Pairings). In meeting fellow attendees and learning about YPAC’s mission, I was immediately engaged and wanted to learn/do more with the vibrant and enthusiastic professionals that were involved."
